Mariam is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary. She is passionate about bridging the gap in women’s health research by exploring the neuroscientific aspects of conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Committed to advancing awareness of how brain and hormonal health intersect, she hopes to contribute to more inclusive and impactful research in the field. Outside of academics, Mariam enjoys playing guitar, reading, spending time with friends, and taking on new volunteering opportunities to give back to her community.
