Mankirat is a medical student at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine. He previously studied Biological Sciences in the Bachelor of Science program at the University of Alberta. Currently, he is collaborating with other medical students and resident physicians on a project aimed at developing a patient-centered approach to identifying gaps in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) care and management. His research interests focus on how personal experiences with medical conditions can be leveraged to inform management strategies so that they are more accessible.
