Helen is a second-year medical student at the University of Calgary. She completed a BSc at the University of Alberta followed by a MPH at the University of Toronto. Her research interests lie in women’s health with a focus on how administrative data can identify patterns in healthcare outcomes. Under the guidance of Dr. Jamie Benham, her research will examine screening practices for women diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome in Alberta. Outside of her studies, Helen enjoys biking along the Bow and hiking in the mountains.
