Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary and has a background in social services research. She is passionate about helping to improve others’ wellbeing through research with a holistic approach. Her many research interests include advocacy and improvement to women’s health and safety, evolutionary psychology, and developmental psychology. Her interests centre on what it means to be human and exploring how to design our world to align more closely with our physiological and psychological needs.
Beyond her work at the EMBRACE Lab, Heather enjoys getting out to the mountains whenever she can, wandering art museums, and sharing laughs with friends.
