Anika Zaman is currently a medical student at the University of Calgary. Prior to medical school, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular, and Microbial Biology. She’s passionate about women’s healthcare, and these interests led her to the EMBRACE Lab, where her research project is studying the use of diabetes technology through pregnancy.
