Mashael is currently in internal medicine residency at the University of Calgary. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree at Bahria University, Pakistan, in 2018. Before residency, Mashael gained extensive experience in emergency medicine and Psychiatry research at the UofC. She is passionate about women’s health and enjoys her role at the EMBRACE lab. She aims to find more effective and efficient ways to treat polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
