The PCOS Patient Advisory Council (PPAC) is a diverse group of individuals with lived experience of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) from Calgary, Alberta, and surrounding communities. Council members meet on a monthly basis to provide patient-centered insight, guidance, and feedback on ongoing research related to PCOS. Through these regular meetings, members contribute their perspectives to help inform the design, implementation, and evaluation of current projects, while also collaboratively identifying priorities and opportunities for future initiatives. The PPAC plays a key role in ensuring that projects are grounded in real-world experiences and reflect the needs, values, and concerns of people affected by PCOS.
