Exercise Training in PMOS

Research

Lifestyle measures, including exercise training, are recommended for all people with Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) (PCOS) for optimal health. We explored the effect of two forms of exercise training – aerobic exercise and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) – on PMOS health outcomes including reproductive and metabolic health and sleep quality. We found that both forms of exercise are helpful in improving some aspects of metabolic health.
