Lab News - October 23, 2024

Exciting news!  Embrace Lab has been awarded 3 years of funding from the National Women’s Health Research Initiative – Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) for a groundbreaking project! The initiative, titled Optimizing Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Self-Management: Implementing International Evidence-Based Guidelines in Alberta, aims to enhance PCOS care across the province.

The project team includes leading researchers: Dr. Jamie Laura Benham, Dr. Erin Alexandra Brennand, Dr. M. Donald, Miss R. Shouldice, Dr. H. Vanden Brink, and Dr. J. Yamamoto. They will collaborate with AbSPORU, Alberta’s arm of the Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research (SPOR), to ensure patient-focused outcomes. Stay tuned for updates on this impactful initiative!
