On June 9th, members of our team attended the StrongHER Together Women’s Health and Wellness event. Through multilingual support, this event provided newcomers to Canada with information on navigating the healthcare system and other health resources.

We had the opportunity to connect with newcomer women and their families by sharing over 300 handouts with accessible resources for polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS) and gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM).

Our team had meaningful discussions with community members and booth partners, learning how we can better support newcomer women in our community.
