About the Lab

The Endocrine, Metabolic and Reproductive Advancements (EMBRACE) Women’s Health Research Lab at the University of Calgary in Calgary, Canada aims to enhance reproductive and cardiometabolic health across the life course in individuals affected by reproductive endocrine disorders, such as polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS) and gestational diabetes.

Our team is at the forefront of women’s health research.  Through innovative studies, we aim to uncover new diagnostic tools, treatments, and preventative measures.

Throughout the research process, we work closely with people with lived experience and experts from related clinical and research fields.
